About KidHours

KidHours is a real-time guide to toddler-friendly spots across Chicago. We built it because as parents of little kids we kept asking the same question every weekend morning: what's actually open right now?

Every listing on KidHours includes live hours, a category (playground, museum, indoor play, etc.), and whether it's free or paid. We sort by what's open and nearest to you so you can spend less time scrolling and more time outside.

Our mission

Help Chicago families discover great places for kids without the usual hunt through outdated websites and stale hours.
